Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 10, 2026
In plain words
- We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use Sylo.
- We build and test our public website against a recognized accessibility standard, and we keep improving.
- Sylo answers on more than one channel, so if calling is hard for you, you can usually reach a business that uses Sylo by text or website chat instead.
- If anything on our site or in Sylo is hard for you to use, tell us at info@wayhow.ai and we will help and work to fix it.
Our commitment
Wayhow Technology Solutions Inc. ("Wayhow") is committed to making Sylo usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, and keyboard-only navigation. We treat accessibility as part of how we build, not an afterthought.
Conformance target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) at https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
We consider our public website and the signed-in Sylo dashboard to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means we meet much of the standard and are actively working toward full conformance. We test against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and are also tracking the newer WCAG 2.2.
How we test
We check our public pages for accessibility automatically on every code change, as part of our continuous integration process, using industry-standard automated tooling. Changes that would introduce serious accessibility problems on those pages are blocked before they ship.
We apply the same automated checks to the signed-in dashboard, and we also check our stylesheets directly on every code change, so that a colour combination which is hard to read is caught even on a screen or a state our automated browsing did not happen to open.
We supplement automated checks with manual review. We design for keyboard access, visible focus indicators, sufficient colour contrast, respect for reduced-motion settings, and clear labels and structure for assistive technologies, and we test by working through the product with a keyboard: that every control can be reached and shows where the keyboard is, that a link at the top of each page lets you skip past the navigation, and that pages still work, without sideways scrolling, on a narrow screen or at high zoom.
Automated testing cannot catch every possible issue, so we treat it as a floor, not a ceiling, and we rely on feedback from the people who use our products to find what tools miss.
Scope
This statement covers the public Sylo website at sylo.wayhow.ai, including our marketing pages, the sign-up flow and our legal pages, and the signed-in Sylo dashboard. We are extending the same standard to the onboarding flow and the website chat widget, which have had less accessibility review than the rest of the product.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of Sylo may not yet be fully accessible:
- We have not commissioned an independent external audit, and we have not yet carried out formal testing with people who use assistive technologies every day. Our testing is our own, and it is a floor rather than a guarantee.
- The onboarding flow and the website chat widget have had less review than the marketing pages and the dashboard.
- Some third-party components that we embed but do not control, such as payment checkout and calendar sign-in, follow their own providers' accessibility practices.
- We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some newer WCAG 2.2 criteria, such as minimum target sizes, are not fully met yet.
- Automated checks focus on the most serious issues first, so smaller issues may remain until manual review reaches them.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us so we can prioritize it.
Accessibility of the Sylo service itself
Sylo is an AI front desk that answers on more than one channel. If using the phone is difficult for you, a business that uses Sylo can usually also be reached by text message or by chat on its website, so you can choose the channel that works best for you. Sylo always identifies itself as an AI at the start of a conversation, and it can hand a conversation to a person when that is the right thing to do.
Giving us feedback or requesting help
If you have trouble using any part of Sylo, or you need information or service in a different format, please contact us by email at info@wayhow.ai.
It helps if you tell us the page or feature, what happened, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, if you know it. We aim to respond within 5 business days, and we will work with you to provide the information or service you need through an accessible alternative while we address the underlying issue.
Updates to this statement
We review this statement at least once a year, and whenever we make significant changes to Sylo. This version was last updated on the date shown at the top.
