Refund Policy
Effective date: August 4, 2026 Version: 2026-08-04
In plain words
- Your free trial is the risk-free part: 14 days, no charge, cancel any time before day 15 and you pay nothing at all.
- Once a subscription payment has been made, it is not refunded. You can cancel any time, and you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If we have a serious, verified outage on our side, we may credit your account. Credits apply to future bills; they are not cash refunds.
- Nothing here takes away rights that the law gives you and does not let you waive.
1. What this policy covers
This Refund Policy applies to all self-serve Sylo subscription plans (Solo, Shop, and Business), including monthly and yearly billing cycles, extra phone numbers, and usage overage charges. Enterprise agreements are governed by their signed order forms, which control if they differ from this policy.
2. The free trial is the evaluation period
Every new subscription begins with a 14-day free trial. A payment card is required at signup, but nothing is charged during the trial. You can cancel at any time before day 15 from your dashboard, with one click, and you will pay nothing. The trial exists precisely so you can evaluate Sylo fully — real calls, real bookings, real messages — before any money changes hands.
3. No refunds on paid subscription periods
Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period and are non-refundable once charged. This includes:
- monthly and yearly subscription fees, in full and in part;
- charges for additional phone numbers;
- usage overage charges you opted into;
- periods where you did not use the Service.
We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, downgrades mid-period, or unused capacity.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription at any time, self-serve, from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period: you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again afterwards. Cancelling does not trigger a refund of the current period.
5. Service credits for verified outages
If the Service suffers a serious, verified outage attributable to us — not to your phone carrier, your internet provider, or a third-party platform outside our control — we may, at our discretion, apply a service credit to your account proportionate to the disruption. Credits apply against future invoices and have no cash value. Plans with a contractual SLA are governed by that SLA's remedy terms.
6. Billing errors
If you believe you were charged in error — a duplicate charge, a charge after a completed cancellation, or an amount that does not match your plan — contact us at info@wayhow.ai within 30 days of the charge. Verified billing errors are corrected in full, promptly, as a refund or reversal of the erroneous amount. This section is about our mistakes, not about changes of mind.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer — verified errors are fixed quickly under Section 6. Initiating a chargeback for a valid, correctly-billed charge is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in suspension of the Service while the dispute is open.
8. Your statutory rights
Some jurisdictions grant consumers rights that cannot be excluded by contract, including certain cancellation or refund rights. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any right you have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Where such a right applies to you, it prevails over this policy to the extent of the conflict.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes apply prospectively from their effective date and never retroactively to charges already made. The current version is always available at this page, with its effective date above.
