Bookings, orders and payments
Orders, deposits, and getting paid
Sylo doesn't just take the call. When you turn payments on, it can take the order and collect the money too.
Set up payments once
Open Settings, then Payments, and connect your payment account through Stripe. It's a short guided setup and the money goes directly to you. Until you connect it, Sylo still takes orders and bookings; it just can't collect payment for them.
Phone orders
A caller places a pickup order. Sylo captures it from your real menu, confirms the items back, and drops the order into your Orders queue with the caller's name and number. You total it (so you stay in control of the final amount), and the customer gets a payment link by text. When they pay, the order shows paid in your queue. If you run your own delivery, you can enable delivery orders too.
Booking deposits
If no shows hurt, require a deposit when booking. Sylo tells the caller during the call, and the deposit is collected through a payment link sent by text. You choose which services need one and how much.
Where the money shows
Every order and deposit is visible in your dashboard with its status (pending or paid). Payouts follow your payment account's normal schedule, and your dashboard's daily numbers show you what Sylo booked and collected.
Refunds and disputes
Refunds are issued from your payment account's dashboard, where the charge lives. Sylo records what was agreed on the call (the transcript is in your Inbox), which is exactly what you want on file if a charge is ever questioned.
