From your knowledge, not the internet
Sylo learns your organisation from your website and your documents. When it was never taught something, it says so and takes a message, instead of guessing well.
The product
Sylo is one front desk across every channel your customers use. This page is the whole of it, in plain words. Nothing on it is a promise about later.
Everything below is live for every plan, unless a line says otherwise.
It answers
Phone calls, texts, WhatsApp and the chat on your own site. Six languages. Any hour.
Sylo learns your organisation from your website and your documents. When it was never taught something, it says so and takes a message, instead of guessing well.
Mumbling, a bad line, a misspelled name, someone who changes their mind halfway through a sentence. Returning callers are recognised and greeted by name, across every channel.
English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese and Hindi. A caller can change language in the middle of a call and Sylo follows without starting over.
When two answers in your knowledge disagree with each other, Sylo shows you the pair rather than picking one and sounding certain about it.
It finishes
What matters about a front desk is what has happened by the time the call ends.
Your real calendar, your real staff, your real tables. The details are read back and confirmed out loud before anything is written down, and a double booking is impossible by design.
Reschedule, cancel, or shift the time when somebody calls to say they are running late. In the conversation, without anyone calling you about it.
Orders are taken in conversation and land in your queue. Deposits and payments go out as a secure card link once you have connected a payment account.
A confirmation by text, reminders before the appointment, and a transcript of every conversation in your dashboard, searchable, whatever channel it happened on.
It hands over
The handover is the hardest part of an AI front desk, so it is the part we built most carefully.
With a transfer number set, Sylo puts the caller through. A caller can ask for someone by name, or for a department, and reach the teammate who covers it.
A teammate holding a seat can take the conversation over from the dashboard, on any channel, while the customer is still on the other end.
Sylo recognises an emergency in the words it hears, marks it, and alerts the owner straight away rather than filing it for the morning.
When nobody is free, what arrives in your inbox is a complete message: who called, the number to call back, and what they actually wanted.
Your team runs it
A front desk is only as good as the rules about who may see and change what.
Give a teammate the inbox, or bookings, or the knowledge base, and nothing else. The wall is in the database, not in a hidden menu item.
A teammate sees the whole inbox, only their department's conversations, or only what is assigned to them. A conversation waiting for a person stays visible to everyone on duty.
Your team clocks in and out from their own dashboard, and the owner can see who was on at any hour of any day.
An owner-visible log records who changed what and when, including the changes to access itself.
However many lines
The same front desk, whether it answers for one room or for an estate of sites.
Each location gets its own number and its own hours, allowances are pooled across the group, and the owner sees the whole estate rolled up in one dashboard.
SAML single sign-on for enterprise teams, configured with your identity provider by us rather than switched on from a settings page.
Record a minute or two and Sylo can answer in your voice. A paid add-on priced per plan, with your written consent taken before the voice is ever made.
What was booked, in money, what was handled, what needed a person, and which questions keep coming back so you can teach the answer once.
It refuses
A front desk that will say anything is a liability. These are not settings you can turn off.
Those questions go to you, and the caller is told plainly that a person will answer them.
If it was not taught something, it says it does not know and brings the question to you. A confident wrong answer is worse than no answer.
Callers are told, the disclosure is logged, and the wording and the consent script follow the caller's own jurisdiction.
Nothing you teach Sylo is used to answer for another organisation, and no row of your data is readable by one.
Underneath
The voice stack notices a failing upstream provider, switches away from it, and switches back on its own once the outage clears.
A synthetic call runs against a live line every night, and a call that answers but never speaks raises an alert on its own.
Every conversation is transcribed. Calls are recorded where the caller was told and the law allows. You can export everything, or delete all of it, from your dashboard.
Forward your number, give Sylo your hours and a few answers, and listen to what happens. 14 day free trial, cancel any time.
